Chasing Tails Fish Camp sits on the shores of Lake St. Clair in Monroe, Michigan — a place where the fishing runs deep and the quiet stretches long. We started as a simple idea: give people a real lakeside spot without the markup, where they can cast a line, sleep under the stars, and actually unwind.
The Eagles Nest Lodge is our on-site lodging — comfortable, clean, and steps from the water. Whether you're here for a weekend bass run or a week-long family escape, we've got the dock, the gear, and the hospitality to make it stick with you.

The Fish Camp
One of the most productive freshwater fisheries in the Midwest — walleye, smallmouth bass, perch, crappie, and more. We provide the access, the boats, and the local know-how. You bring the patience.
Spring and fall bring the walleye runs. We know the spots, the depths, and the lures that work when the water turns.
Summer on the rocks. Clear water, hard fighters, and some of the best smallmouth angling in the Great Lakes region.
Perch, crappie, and panfish make great family fishing. We set up the kids, load the boat, and make sure everyone goes home with a story.
Boat rentals, gear provided, and local guidance included with your stay.

Just south of Detroit, Monroe sits on the western end of Lake St. Clair — and we're only a short drive from the city, but a world away from it.
Getting here: Take I-75 south to Monroe. Exit toward downtown / Lake St. Clair. We're located on E Dunbar Rd, just minutes from the water. Look for the sign.
